Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ.
We are overcomers in many areas of life as well: our faith in God allows us to have victory over fear and despair. When we face trouble our faith in a good and loving God encourages us to walk through our grief. Faith in an all-present God gives us strength to carry on, recognizing we are not alone. Yes, we are more than conquerors because of our faith in Christ Jesus.
God made us alive with Christ, he forgave us our sins, he has taken them away, nailing them to the cross. Yes, Jesus triumphed over the powers and authorities, he made the cross represent victory to us. One who died on that cross dwells within us and has overcome the world.
Father, Thank you for the beauty of the water and the blood. Thank you for making us holy in your sight, without blemish and free from accusation through Christ. Thank you, Jesus, for the testimony of your spirit.
